Research & Engineering Studio (RES)
RES provides a virtual desktop environment, called VDIs, and application hosting. This is great for those researchers accustomed to a Windows Remote Desktop and associated applications. Within RES. the ReD Team can create custom workspaces that launch specific instances (cores, memory, GPUs) with specific OS images and software.

Access
After connecting to the URC Okta Dashboard page, launch RES by selecting the Research Engineering Studio tile.
The RES Portal screen will appear. Click on the Sign In with SSO link towrds the bottom of the page:
You should be presented with the Research and Engineering Studio Dashboard:
NOTE: On the top right of the Dashboard portal page, you will see your RES username, which for most cases should be your Harvard Key email prefix – the portion of your email address before the '@' character.
