Regulated Data Environment (ReD) Overview

Welcome to the ReD Environment!!!

The ReD Environment is a secure, cloud-based research computing platform hosted by University Research Computing and Data, within Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT). The ReD Environment was developed in close collaboration with the Office of the Vice Provost for Research (OVPR) to address the increasing regulatory complexity and risk in the research landscape.

Compliance is a shared responsibility! The ReD Environment is designed to streamline the technical aspects of adherence to regulatory policy, allowing researchers to focus on their work without being burdened by the intricacies of cybersecurity controls.

This is the main user-facing documentation site, featuring the following sections. In the future you will be able to contribute to this documentation as well!
